I’m Mykyta, and I make things. Some of them are drawings in graphite and charcoal. Some are paintings in acrylic and oil. Some are objects built from wood at the bench, like frames, panels and furniture for the studio. And some are tools made with technology.
I don’t think of these as separate practices. The same questions show up everywhere: how light falls on a form, how a joint holds, how a layout guides the eye, how something is made to last.
The name is a question I keep asking myself. Creative or not, I keep making. This site is the record.
